Much Warmer Temperatures Today

This morning ended up colder than was expected, with lows falling into the mid and upper 50's in most areas.  Even though it was a little colder this morning, temperatures have skyrocketed into the lower 80's.  As of 10:30 a.m., the temperature in Antwerp was 81 degrees which is much higher than yesterday's temperature at the same time.  Some other temperatures include:

Fort Wayne, Ind: 79 degrees; mostly sunny
Current Temperatures
Angola, IN: 77 degrees; sunny
Defiance, OH: 79 degrees; sunny
Napoleon, OH: 81 degrees; sunny

Hicksville, OH: 78 degrees; sunny
Paulding, OH: 81 degrees; sunny
Ottawa, OH: 82 degrees; sunny

I expect temperatures to climb from the lower 80's right now, to around 85 or 86, with some places hitting 87 or 88.  Tonight's lows will drop into the mid 60's with increasing clouds and the chance of a thunderstorm.  Tomorrow, as I said in yesterday's last blog post, the NWS (National Weather Service) has dropped highs from 93 down to 88, to account for possible thunderstorms.  If the storms do not develop temperatures could 93 or 94 tomorrow, with isolated areas hitting 96.  If the MCS (Mesoscale Convective System), a cluster of heavy thunderstorms, develops, then expect heavy rainfall, frequent lightning, and possibly high winds early tomorrow morning.  By Saturday temperatures will be hitting 93 to 95 and possibly higher if there are no thunderstorms.  On Saturday, extremely humid conditions will cause heat indices of one hundred degrees or more.
