Very Warm for July
All of this week, temperatures have been warm to hot, as temperatures have hovered around the lower 90's all week long. This pattern will continue as an upper level ridge builds into the region tomorrow into Sunday. Saturday and Sunday will both be in the lower 90's, not only hot temperatures but higher humidity as well. By Monday, thunderstorms will be back in the forecast, with even more humid and hotter conditions, with temperatures in the middle 90's. Also the possibility of strong thunderstorms comes into play Monday through Friday next week, with heavy rain being the primary threat, which is good news for our parched ground. According the National Weather Service, a much wetter pattern will come into play over the next week, with hopefully several inches coming for the Fort Wayne area. All of next week temperatures will range from the middle 80's to the lower 90's. Tomorrow, I will have a longer blog post about the rest of the summer and the upcoming pattern.
